The Double Horizontal 38 insect screen is ideal for doors with wide width, up to 300cm. It can be used with almost any type of frame, even when the shutters’ latch does not leave a lot of room (min. 2.3cm at the latches).
It features a double mechanism, central closing and a Stiff Fiberglass mesh, offering excellent visibility, and high sun and water resistance. Each mesh rolls around its axis with the help of springs, and retracts inside 3.8cm thick cases.
One leaf is fixed at the centre of the opening, with the help of 2 wedge stoppers at the top and bottom, and latches on the second leaf with a magnet or hook. In case of asymmetric leaves, the fastening position can be changed, as long as the width of the larger leaf is not more than 150cm.
Two galvanised, very high-strength springs are used to rewind the screen. Speed reducers (brakes) are available as add-ons, for increased safety. A mesh lock brush can be added on the guides, for increased resistance to strong winds.
