Description
The Motorised insect screen with Zip is the ideal solution for large frames, difficult-to-access frames where the screen cannot be manually operated, and for balconies, terraces, patios and pergolas.
The product is made of grey Stiff Fiberglass mesh, offering excellent visibility, and high sun and water resistance. Other types of meshes can be used alternatively.
The Zip system (windproof zipper) holds the mesh within the side guides, offering exceptional wind-load resistance.
The second, internal guide is specifically designed to hold the Zip. It has flexible edges to absorb wind loads, giving additional strength to the mesh.
The screen moves with the help of wireless or wired motors, made by well-known European manufacturers (Somfy and Nice).
The galvanised axis of the motorised screen has a large, Φ78mm diameter, which offers:
- Rigidity, even with large widths (max. 5m)
- Speed, even with standard 17rpm motors, since 25cm of mesh unroll with every motor turn
